current - archives - profile - notes -main diary - host 22 weeks 6 days Already it's been almost another week since I updated this diary. That's scary. Time really is going fast. That's why we started a little baby shopping yesterday. We went to Ipswich for the afternoon with the intention of looking for some maternity things for me. I was the only one who didn't get anything. Matthew and bf got some bargains out of Primark and baby got a lovely little cuddle robe and big lemon coloured bath. Still the lovely bf has left me his bank card while he's at work today and said when I'm out later, get anything I need. He's lovely. The maternity thing is a bit of a nightmare though. So many things are tailored, I just want elasticated waists. I'm currently wearing jeans that would normally be two sizes too big - and they feel it. I'm beginning to wonder if I can get away with these the whole pregnancy. They just make me look fatter rather than pregnant. My tummy is expanding as are my thighs so I need a size bigger in bottoms but bigger tops fall off my shoulders. My bum has always been my biggest part. I'm short, most things come really long. As for baby we don't really need much. I never kept anything of Matthews but we only need a new moses basket and travel system really. Baby is going to have Matthews cotbed. We only need a new mattress for that. We thought it fairer on Matthew if HE got the new bed so he doesn't feel like the baby is the one getting everything new. We think Matthew would like this: A grown up boys bed. That way we are saving money by not buying another thing that in time will need to be replaced. There are some good beds with ladders but we think we'll save that for a few more years as it's the toilet in the night thing that is still a little of a worry. But this looks good and suitable for a good few years. On Friday my brothers best friend became a dad for the first time to a little boy called Alfie. Aaaaawwwwwww, how cute. That name is beginning to grow on me. As are many others. This weeks list of preffered names are as follows: Mia Sam This time, I am more drawn to boys names than girls. I am really focused on a Mia Sophie at the moment which is strange as it was about this time I was fixed on a Matthew if it was a boy. I found it VERY easy to pick a boys name first time round but found myself constantly changing names for girls. However, the case is opposite this time round. Could I be having a girl? It would be nice. Matthew found a baby girls outfit and matter of factly said "I want this for my sister!!!" This is despite the fact the he says he wants a brother and that he thinks he'll have a brother. Just he will always refer to baby as his sister while "she" is in there. Sweet little man of mine.
