30 weeks
26 August 2008 9:43 a.m.
Despite knowing that I have almost everything I need for a new arrival, I seem to be having the odd panic that I don't have enough ready just yet.
I think it's the realisation that I am into my last 10 weeks!!! Yippee!! I really am 3/4 through my pregnancy and the idea of time is getting ever more important as things draw ever nearer.
It's been a bank holiday weekend here in the UK and I must say that despite my lovely long weekend with bf and Matthew, the highlight was yesterday evening when I got to have a little cuddle with a 7 week old little boy named Alfie. He's my brothers best friends little boy and was so so sweet.
There's something so strange about motherhood and impending motherhood for a second time that you pick up a baby and it all just seems so natural and like yesterday that I had this cute little bundle of boyness myself. It did bring back alot of memories and I know that whatever sex this baby turns out to be that it will just be so exciting and special to have a little baby once again. Regardless of whether it is dressed in pink or blue.
Bless.
