9 Weeks 6 Days

My littlest man did wonderful last night.
We were so close to our first full nights sleep.
The 9pm bottle was pushed away and he went into a deep sleep around 9.30pm which is early for him but he was obviously tired enough to go off.
I expected him to wake up around 1ish wanting another bottle. So I went to bed around 11pm so I could get some sleep in first. I was quite surprised when I did get woken up to get him a bottle as it was 5.15am. This is the longest he has ever slept for without food.
James did so well and it feels like a full nights sleep could soon be on the cards. Things had gradually been getting better for a couple of weeks but he seems so satisfied at the moment.
James is such a happy little boy and he asks for very little beyond a feed, a clean nappy and a little bit of love. Yesterday he rolled over at a friends house for the first time. He rolled from his front to back and then seemed confused as to what he had just done. He hasn't done it since so daddy and big bro have not seen his little clever trick but I am pleased that my mate Sharon witnessed it as he's doing it around 6 weeks earlier than "the books" suggest. Though my opinion on "the books" is that it's all rubbish anyway. Kids learn at their own pace and us mothers are a better judge of our kids than someone paid to write about it.
Trust your instincts is my little motto when it comes to parenting.
I think I am due another period. I can't remember how long they were spaced out after Matthew but it's been 4 weeks since I had my almost normal period (I lasted for 4 days longer than normal) I don't know if I got back into a pattern quick or what. I am normally around 4 weekly as regular as clockwork and I have had the heavy tummy feeling, been tired, have a cold, have been feeling cold, been excessively warm today and boy have I been hungry this week (not because I've started a diet!!) so the huge list of symptoms are all there. Just no bleeding as yet. As soon as I do get that sorted out, I will get the injection done.
