Week 32
09 September 2008 9:14 a.m.
Week 32.Your baby is up to 3.75 pounds (1702gm) now and is 16.7 inches (42.4cm) long.
You might notice she's not moving around as much now. Don't worry! She is fine -- just running short on room. She still has plenty of growing to do though, believe it or not!
All five senses are working. Your little one is fascinated and practicing testing these out as much as possible!
Toenails are completely formed.
Hair on your infant's head continues to grow in.
Brain scans have shown that babies have periods of dream sleep (REM) starting around the eight month.
Not too much to report over here. Baby is rolling and rolling away several times a day more than kicking and I still have it in my mind that this is going to be an early baby and surprised that baby has been in the head down position for the last 2 weeks.
I am feeling quite icky again at the moment though feeling sicky most mornings and I have had a slight change in discharge which is a little thicker but not discoloured or anything obviously bad. I am just keeping an eye on it though and will get an appointment with my nurse should anything change.
I am getting lots of heartburn after meals. I have never in my life suffered from indigestion or heartburn but it's not very nice.
I have also been getting ALOT of braxton hicks contractions, some of which are met with the "oooh,(that wasn't too nice") response from me.
With just a total of 8 weeks to go now I am more than just a little paranoid that this baby is more ready to be born than I am.
Still, it is 2 weeks on from my medical emergency so I am more than happy that baby has been good and not giving me more stress.
We've been thinking more and more about names and we have more or less got it sussed though I think I will do a poll for my next entry and you can play a little game where you can guess both mummys and daddys favourite names and I can get an idea of what people like. :)
