It may have been my last antenatal trip

Another Doctors appointment whizzes by.
36 weeks, 2 days.
Swollen ankles noted (as mild swelling at that). No protein in Urine. Blood pressure lower than it has been all pregnancy. No other swelling anywhere or symptoms to signify pre-eclampsia.
Heartbeat strong and clear.
Movement noticed during check.
Still in head down position. Still very low.
Measuring at 37 weeks which means I look set for quite an average sized baby.
I was told to book my next appointment for 2 weeks time. This week was a catchup appointment as my last appointment was a week late as the doctor was on holiday.
Dr is on holiday again that week I am next due an appointment. So I was booked in for the following Tuesday which falls on October 28th.
I don't think I will be going to that appointment.
It is right in school half term, right on week 39!!! Even Matthew didn't leave it that late.
He arrived at 38 weeks 5 days.
I've already said I wouldn't be surprised if this baby arrives between October 18th and October 23rd. Still that could just be wishful thinking.
Even if this baby was to arrive right now, he or she would weigh between 5.5lb and 6lb and is putting on roughly an ounce a day and that's without my bump measuring a week ahead.
