I Just Want To Stop Feeling Sick 24 Hours A Day
26 September 2008 9:18 p.m.
My GP is on holiday this week.
And so is my Midwife.
(The same midwife whom I have only met once as I am under local surgery care as it's only 2 minutes walk to my surgery. The same midwife whom I immediately took a dislike to as she couldn't seem to cope with a 4 year old in the same room as us!)
So I spoke to my practitioner nurse this morning just to get a little advice. She told me what I had already known. These things are common at the end of pregnancy and can go on for weeks before birth. So unless I am having regular contractions or my waters break then there's only a tiny chance I am in labour. Yet if I have concerns I can contact her anytime and if she has someone in surgery she'll get back to me in between patients. She is lovely. Would much rather have all my care with her.
I mentioned that I am CONSTANTLY feeling sick, more so than ever this week and she said there was nothing she could really recommend other than the usual ginger biscuit and small meals remedies.
It is just so frustrating!
Help!!!
I just want to make it into week 36 to try and avoid the special baby unit then baby can come whenever he or she chooses!!!
