Wobbles
04 June 2008 3:25 p.m.
I am definitely doing more than my fair share of practice for when baby arrives.
For the last week I would say I have had on average around 5 hours sleep per night. I have no trouble getting to sleep but I can't stay asleep.
I am frustrated to be waking up and looking at the clock every 40 minutes or so. I am frustrated that I am constantly so tired and lacking in energy and that as much as I want to sleep I just can't.
It's not that I'm uncomfortable with a growing bump. It's not that I am stressed or anything.
I suppose I could be continuously woken by a lively little person in my belly or there is a chance I have it on my mind I mustn't oversleep when I am due to let in the kitchen people.
I did try a milky drink and bath before bed last night and it did not help.
But as a little silver lining in this whingey pregnancy entry I did get to do what became a favourite pastime in my other pregnancy.
For the first time in this pregnancy I saw Pooh moving whilst I was in the bath last night. I do love this as I get to play with Pooh by rubbing my tummy to get a reaction then by laying very still and seeing my tummy wobble and the odd little ripple that ties in with each movement I feel.
I do love that part of pregnancy.
I am really growing outwards all of a sudden. It's almost like you can notice the growth each day and I am back to having another hungry week.
